After another night of happy partiying, the day was again spent
in big part at the pool... However, I managed to go to a Workshop
in the late afternoon, held by a Darfurian refugee. The workshop
showed me real new aspects of the conflict and was therefor really
interesting. The most amazing part in my opinion, was the fact,
that the darfurian refugee was a muslim, and mentioned many times,
that this conflict was not about religion. Imagine a muslim refugee
speaking before a young jewish crowd, while always underlining the
fact, that we were one of the only one who would listen....
The evening was then followed by the orinetal night. The funny part
about that, ist that apparently, the word „oriental“
has different meanings, depending from where you come from: From
a japanese kimonos to arabic tunics, every kind of „oriental“
was represented. Good night again, my next day will start at 5 o’clock
in the morning...
