We have a great flight from Zurich to Ben Gurion Airport,
eating great beef meat and frozen pithot. Somehow this is a flight
where you know more people then on a regular EL AL flight. |

In 30 minutes we are going to land. Now we are discussing how
we are getting to Be'er Sheva. Will there be someone from the organisation
who is picking us up or do we have to take a taxi? We'll see...
The last week I tried to find out if we could check in the hotel
in the middle of the night. Also about this we are not sure. |

No one is waiting for us ;-( , no WUJS sign at the airport, so
we decide to take a cab. |
|

We arrive in Be'er Sheva! It costs us 430 NIS and we get out a
few buildings too early. This happens because the local law court
looks like a Hotel! We walk 10 minutes and arrive in the Golden
Tulip Hotel! The check in is super easy and we get a nice room. |

Second wake up! |

The WUJS congress is now officially opened! We've been introduced
in a general assembly by Daniel Translateur. Other speakers are
from KKL- JNF, from the Sochnut and the WJC. Very touching words
are adressed to us by Nadia Cohen, the wife of the spy Eli Cohen.
She is requesting from us to write letters to Syrians Bashar Asad
to return Eli Cohens bones to Israel and to report about this issue
in our local unions.

Great Dinner and the first political talks are taken place. The
candidates for tomorrows elections for chairperson are chatting
with you. I will try to record tomorrow a few words from them and
post it here. |

| 21:00 |
The general assembly is continued. Nadine Pollak, Tamar Shchory
and Daniel Translateur are introducing themselves and holding a
Q&A session. |

We are picket up by busses that bring us to the Chika Pub. The
party is great. Have a few impressions: |
